At Denmark Road Sixth Form we have a strong focus on excellence which extends beyond our classroom walls. Consequently, when our students leave us at the age of 18, they are ready to become successful young people in the 21st Century.
We understand that to be a success in whatever they choose to do, students also need to have a broad skill set. As a consequence, we have developed the credit based Denmark Road Edge programme.
Our innovative DRHS: The Edge Programme builds on our current curriculum and supra-curriculum offering. It is designed to be a choice-driven, well-supported and bespoke framework that empowers students to develop skills of value beyond schooling or qualifications, and to be able to evidence their achievements and development better.
These valuable skills fall under these three broad areas. Students are asked to gain a minimum 50 credits in each year:
- Leadership and service
- Personal growth
Students will leave Denmark Road as INNOVATIVE, AMBITIOUS AND SELF-AWARE LEADERS OF THE FUTURE.
